Gen Y Rock Star Lady Gaga Makes Fast Company’s Top 100 Most Creative People
For the last two years, I have been watching Lady Gaga…just wondering about what her schtick really is…as a matter of fact, it has been hard NOT to watch her with her oversized hair and hats, mysterious sunglasses and see-through, sprayed-on clothing.
But Fast Company has now explained the mystery and have somewhat satisfied my confusion…she is a current AND future business leader of the world. In the recent article, The 100 Most Creative People in Business (2010), Gaga hit the number 1 spot for her in-your-face shock approach, innovation, business savvy, use of online social networks and a true dedication to social causes which are a source of true inspiration for the artist. Her fans are even called Little Monsters, and she collaborates and interacts with them frequently through Twitter and Facebook. She is smart, a branding maniac and knows what she wants and what she will not tolerate. We could all learn a thing or two from her strategy.
