As a parent, I have miles to go before I sleep! Vanessa Van Petten has truly given me such a fresh perspective on how to interact with my children (twins age 21 and a son age 20). The biggest thing I learned is to listen and to not try to predict where the conversation is going…to let the conversation go where it needs to and to just be open (as a parent of 3 Gen Ys, it is so easy to want to jump in and start solving problems…this just does not work! I think it makes things a lot worse!)
